Jim Anderson began his singing career in Brantford, Ontario as a young teenager. For over thirty years he has proclaimed the good news of the gospel through music of various styles such as traditional, sacred, country and western, gospel rock, contemporary gospel and worship music. All of his music promotes family values.
His style is both entertaining and innovative using unusual locations and props, such as boats, motorcycles, limousines and horses.
Singing to audiences of thousands across North America, Jim Anderson has found his music being played around the world including Europe, Africa, the United Kingdom, Australia and China.
Over the years he has released three recordings, “911 for Jesus”, the title song of which Jim wrote, and “I Believe” an album of eleven early gospel songs previously recorded by Elvis. The newest release contains eleven of Elvis’ most popular inspirational, gospel and power songs and is titled “Follow That Dream”.
With his powerful voice and remarkable stamina Jim has been performing Gospelelvis since 1998. He performed for seven weeks at Christian Retreat in Bradenton, Florida and also for Christian Retreat in Strawberry Lake, Minnesota for two weeks. Jim has also done concert tours in North Carolina, Michigan and all over Canada from Quebec to Saskatchewan as well as lake cruises.
Jim has also appeared on television in Hastings, Michigan, “It’s a New Day” in Winnipeg, Manitoba and “100 Huntley Street”. He has also appeared many times at three Circle Square Ranches across Ontario and also those in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, having performed charitable fund raising concerts.
As well as television appearances Jim has done live performances on radio in Orillia, Kitchener and North Bay Ontario and syndicated performances across North America.
Jim was the Gospel Events Coordinator of the Collingwood Elvis Festival from 2002-2010, the largest of its kind in the world, as well as performing at and conducting Gospel Shows at the Orillia Rock and Roll Show and the King of Kitchener Festival.
Jim has several authentic Elvis stage costumes of the finest quality, as well as a stretch Cadillac Limousine. His sound system is state of the art.
He has also been well received at numerous fairs, festivals, rock and roll shows, weddings, community events, First Nations celebrations and parades. This man is versatile, to say the least.
